Caylee Hammack - Bed Of Roses

As a little girl who always just wanted a man to bring her flowers – I decided I’d be better off if I just learned how to grow my own.
— Caylee Hammack

Has it really been five years? Caylee Hammack’s debut record was a slight casualty of 2020. Despite having captive audiences a lot of great albums from then have been forgotten since. Bed Of Roses reminds us just how great a singer and songwriter Caylee is. It’s a mix of sad, bolshy, witty, and thoughtful. Caylee’s voice tremors with beauty and the music is laced with country sounds—an excellent second album from an artist that should be huge.

I’m the editor-in-chief. The guy who looks after this whole damn place. And the music you see here is the kinda sounds that I’m into. They’re my questions, but not my answers.
