Albums of the year 2022: part one, the near misses
2022 has been a terrific year in country and Americana and that’s shown by the number of records that made it onto the long list for consideration this year. here you’ll find the selection of those that dropped off the list early on. Reminder, the list is albums I’ve enjoyed the most, not the best per se as who’s to say what best is. Mostly these records just didn’t get played enough to be in my top 20.
