Hailey Whitters last record felt like her debut, despite being her second. Raisedups the quality stakes again and showcases Hailey as both an excellent writer - which we know anyway as she’s written for the like of Alan Jackson and Little Big Town - and an artist in her own right. Most recently she’s been compared to Same Trailer, Different Park-era Kacey, but that’s unfair on Hailey. She’s carving her own path into the tree of life and needs to be celebrated for her individualness.
